The local slopes are excellent for beginners, intermediates can access the whole of La Plagne circuit easily, families are well-served with children’s clubs ranging from 9months to 18yrs and there are plenty of activities for non-skiers. At Dos Rond there is a trick area for snowboarders and carvers.

Ski Facts: Locally 30km with 26 pistes: 8 red, 16 blue, 2 green, 25km cross country.
Lift pass: Montchavin/Les Coches adult 142 euros, child-14yrs 107 euros.

Non-skiing: events (games, torchlight descents, clowns, slide show), artificial skating rink, walks, exhibitions, a few restaurants & bars.

Travel: By car: Calais 550 miles. By rail: Aime La Plagne 22 miles. By air: Geneva 3hrs, Lyons 2½ hrs.
